09.56 One personal meeting after breakfast, tai chi at 09.15.
10.58 The 10.00 Guitar Meeting succeeded in unseating us with displacements & hockets in 4 octaves on a simple 8 note figure, then the lower two figures in retrograde motion.
13.03 Personal meetings done & lunch 15 minutes late for 13.15.
One of the interesting features of this weekend: while circulating, one of the Team consistently placed their note late. This was not, it seemed to me, a question of bad time. More, a Governing Strategy in how the player organized the whole of their life, evidenced in one small facet of it. In our personal meeting we discussed this & came to the conclusion that, yes, this was a Governing Strategy rather than a feature of guitar playing.
14.35 Two more personal meetings & now about to leave this cold, bleak & windswept, handsome Dorset hillside. The team will remain with Luciano directing activities.
A valuable visit, for me.
